Write on the Sound

The sold out 2012 Write on the Sound Conference  included a fantastic lineup of workshops presented by Carla Neggers, Stella Pope Duarte, Robert Dugoni, Rick Steves, and many more.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in this year's WOTS Conference. Gorgeous weather and good company made this year's conference the ideal setting for finding inspiration and sharing new ideas. We had more participants traveling from far flung states than ever before, making Edmonds the travel destination for their writing escape. Many participants extended their weekend stay and explored the shopping, wine tasting, hiking and other site-seeing in Snohomish County.  

The anthology of the 2012 Literary Contest winning entries is available now.

Be sure to save the date for October 4-6, 2013, for the 28th Annual WOTS. 

We are grateful for all the participants, presenters and volunteers who made this year's conference so wonderful. We look forward to seeing everyone next year!

2012 WOTS Keynote Presentation by Carla Neggers

Edmonds is a town of 40,000 located on the shores of Puget Sound about 20 minutes north of Seattle, 45 minutes from SeaTac airport. With outstanding views of the water and the Olympic mountains to the west, Edmonds has a charming downtown including boutiques, travel specialties, galleries and restaurants. Known as an arts community, Edmonds is home to outstanding performing and visual arts and a historic museum.
